We stayed in all day today as Hurricane Dorian was about to arrive off the coast opposite us and the forecast was uncertain, depending on the hurricane's exact track.
In the event the weather was OK, but we used the day to do odd jobs around the house - the only roof gutter the house has - at the edge of the lanai - needed cleaning out as leaves were blocking the two downpipes, the owner's cupboard needed tidying and the storage boxes there needed labelling, some door locks needed lubricating and so on - in fact all the usual jobs of keeping a house going!
